Are preschool children welcome to visit the museum? Of course they are! Bring your class to the Museum of Industry and discover the wonderful world of heritage through fun and play. Join the letter friends on an adventure or weave your own work of art out of paper and yarn.

Don’t hesitate – book a place in the museum workshops at the renovated Museum of Industry. 

MUSEUM WORKSHOPS

LETTER PRESS(URE)

Young children can explore the world of printing in this fun, active workshop. Friendly, madcap letter friends get them involved in adventures with letters, ink and printing. The children get different tasks to do and make a print of their own with a historical press. Come and see with Mister B! 

Target group: Year 3 of preschool and Year 1 of primary school
When: bookings accepted every day during opening hours
Duration: two hours
Price: 100 euros, admission free up to the age of 18, teachers and accompanying adults also free
Participants: maximum 20 infants or junior school
Number of groups: maximum 1 group at once
Reservations: booking form

WARP & WEFT (FROM 16/11/2020)

In ‘Warp & Weft’, the children explore a world they have not encountered before, the world of textiles. What are textiles? Where do they come from? How are they made? Who makes them? What do you need to make them? What can you do with them? Why do those machines make so much noise? 

Target group: Years 2 and 3 of preschool
When: bookings accepted every day during opening hours (as of 16/11/2020)
Duration: two hours
Price: 100 euros, admission free up to the age of 18, teachers and accompanying adults also free
Participants: maximum 20 infants
Number of groups: maximum 1 group at once
